 Okay, not a real memory, but it could have been. I don't even know what my earliest memory is. I didn't time it. I converted to b/w and then merged the conversion with hard light (because I wasn't happy with the b/w). crop. resize. USM. Once again, I am leaning on my sexy lens to take an indoor photo without any special lighting. It looks noisy and the dof is shallow, but I think that makes the photo more interesting. So vote it low. I dare you!

I remember trying this as a kid - and also trying to stick my fingers in a fan. Don't know what that says about me. :) I like the composition - how the curve of the hand and finger lead the eye to the scissors. The posture of the hand is even a bit reminiscent of that in the Sistine Chapel ceiling.

Sorry...I didn't vote low either! I like this. It really could have been a memory! Makes me think of my step-son when he came home from first grade with the sleeve of his brand new school shirt cut in shreds. I asked him how he did it and he looked down at it like he never noticed it and said, "I don't know, but the kid sitting next to me had some scissors."
