Wow. The light, the shadows, the mystery introduced not by hiding in shadows but by juxtaposing them with bright light, solid lines between them. Excellent. |

It is the view out the door that draws us, but then we come back to consider where we are and that it is a very particular time of day. |

Too bad there's not an "E" challenge, lol, cuz you have something pretty cool there. The first thing that caught my eye was the the beach being framed in the background. And then I like the sparkling sand too. |

I love this. It's definitely a picture with a story to tell. |

Looks like an old beach house, nice lighting and well done on the b&w conversion. |

This definitely has some strong lines and a good B&W conversion. I bet an HDR version would look fantastic. |

The light does give some nice angles. The glistening of the water in the background and the ripples in the sand in the foreground add nicely to the picture. |

Shadows and light, often avoided in photography. Yet the harsh shadows can be used to reveal beautiful form on the beach, as in your photo. Simple as your photo is, there is something compelling in it. I learn from you to try and find that simple compelling image. |

this must be a beach house.. I really like the textures from the ground all the way up. Never been in one or even seen one of these. hmm..thinks I need to head to the beach this summer. |

I like this! For some reason, I used to not be able to fully appreciate abstract types of photos, but lately, I have been loving them. The lines in this are very crisp and clean. I love the grungy element to it as well -- and of course the inviting view of the outside. Yes! Very nice indeed.

Nice set of lines make for an interesting picture. Perhaps do a bit more skew correction if possible. |

A beach house unused during the winter months - a changing room of sorts? The water beyond is quite a nice surprise. Now if we'd only had an "E" challenge that week! Nice handling of a very broad range of light here. |

Fantastic lines, detail and composition. I like that we get just a small glimpse of the beach to contrast with the man-made elements. |

Great shot! I love the clarity & detail. The processing you're doing sounds similar to the Luko sharpening action. |

I like how you kept details in the darker areas like the wall but didn't loose the details in the mud (floor). Interesting lines. Thanks for sharing! |

I really like the view out this door. Contrasts are very effective, pleasing. I'm not so favorable to the bench. Not much you could do about that.
