It's the type of challenge photo that succumbs to being viewed in the context of many others. The eye tires, sometimes quick decisions are made, the mind still has the effect of the last viewed photo on board... Challenges can prevent true appreciation of photos. I suppose they are meant to single out what one prefers, after all. This photo of yours is elegant in a passive manner. I came back to appreciate it and I do appreciate it much more now that it is one its own and not with others. |

I am surprised this didn't score higher. It's beautiful. |

I really like the simplicity and reality of this.
One I certainly would have been proud to have entered.
Back to add that after going through this challenge & the results, had to add it as a favorite. One of the best of the challenge in my opinion, and should have finished much higher than it did.

i like the feel of this photo (as if you just took this while she was across the street and saw you) and framing |

Like: great shot, almost flawless in all aspects. Great idea for b/w conversion.
dislike: The dead space on the left is sorta of distracting. Since the model is looking at the camera, there is no need for leading room. So i would have put her a little bit more to the left, but still abiding by thirds.
nice shot.

I like the composition and tone in this. wouldn't hurt to have a slightly sharper eye. |

I really like the pose, but the background is a bit distracting |

Very nice. I like the hair over the left eye. Nice sharp focus on the right eye. Pretty girl. |

Although this seems to lack a little focus on the eyes (the lips and right eye seem sharp though), I really like this composition. I'm also glad to see it in pure black and white. 9 |
