Beautiful light. The "S" curve that leads my eye through seems a little hidden to me. Perhaps dodging the foreground trees would help connect to the line of snow that leads up to the trees. |

Beautiful tones from that late light! This picture is simple and yet interesting to look at. Welcome to the SOL side challenge. |

I love the color the lighting gives to the grass. The hint of snow along the one ridge separates the picture nicely. |

The rolling hills remind me of our snow country, around Cooma. I just love that time of day and the light. |

Compelling isn't the word for it. It's downright captivating and even somewhat contagious. I feel like hopping in the car and heading for South Dakota...right now! Lovely colors and you are absolutely right about the light - wonderful. |

Anni, the lighting is beautiful and the winter colors of nature make a very pretty scene.
Hope the labor went well and you delivered a fine little babe. |

Ha - that's too funny. I see this woman in labor, waiting for you to come to her aid and you are posting photos on DPC! lol!!
This is really a lot of country, isn't it? I'll have to go up there one of these days, when it's not snowing - and see for myself. I've been loving seeing this area through your lens. |

Looks like the grass is rusty after all that snow. lol! Beautiful colors in the hills. I hope the labor and birth went well.
I have not seen many trees in the S. Dakota shots and I just realized that now after the two weeks you've been posting to the Jan. where you live side challenge. My skills at detective of the obvious are slacking a bit. |
