I had given this a 6. Two changes that might have improved the shot are:
A slightly higher crop on the bottom - perhaps to just below the bolt on the bumper. The undercarriage and sky showing under there are a bit distracting.
The hotspot reflections on the grill are a bit strong. You might have changed the angle of the shoot slightly or toned them down in post processing. |

My first impression of this shot is RED - nice brilliant color, with good contrast against the deep blue in the sky. My second impression is that the composition overall seems a bit constrictive to me, like there's not enough room for your subject to breath. I think your choice of shooting angle does this, mostly - point and shoots usually have a fairly wide angle lens, 26mm or so if I'm not mistaken (and I very well could be mistaken!), but that may not have been wide enough to fully exploit your shooting angle and give a nice sense of breadth to the car's grill. |
