 This is where I live!

I've posted similar shots before - this is taken from the top of the parking lot where I have my space. The mountain that I often photograph and have right outside my apartment - is behind me from this perspective.

The complex is called Orion at Hermosa Pointe - could it be any more pretentious? The ocher of the buildings is not quite as vivid as you see it here - still an eyesore, in my opinion.

That mountain range is part of "my" mountain and goes quite a ways east.

Someone was asking about where the city is - if these mountains are in the city. Well, the Phoenix Metro Area has five mountain ranges in the city. As a result, you are never far from quasi-wilderness and nature. And it makes this city very majestic and beautiful.

This area looks a lot like part of New Mexico near Taos. It's beautiful country. I would miss all the greenery that I live with here after a while, but it would be a great place to visit.
