 Taken at the Steam Museum, The Grand Junction 90 inch Engine built in 1846 pumping water at a rate of 6.4 million gallons per day to supply the city of London.

Cropped slightly, adjusted brightness and contrast.

What did I learn from this challenge:
How to change the hue/sat to improve the image.
Interesting angles work well

Not bad for my first entry and using my point and shoot as I didn't have my SLR lens :)

The guy in blue wasn't a dummy, he was actually operating the machine, I'd have liked to have used a slower shutter speed but he was jumping all over the place operating the machine!!

A little surprised by the 1's and 2's though!

Thanks for the pointer on colour saturation, have now just learnt how to use that function in PS :)

A little extra colour saturation could help here to bring out the pipes. Leave the blues though.
