the angle is excllent, nice mood, lighting is just fine, great focus i just found a very little flaws here, theres a glare in the glasses, but its okay for me, you can correct that later in photoediting software. EXCELLENT WORK.

Mjög góð mynd af Megasi!

Góð pósa og lýsingin er mjög góð! Vel valið að hafa svartann bakgrunn!

Very nice capture. Good use of light to bring out the caracter in this persons face.

very nice picture and lighting. I would like to see a little less of the negative space to the left and put the orientation in portrait mode.

Poignant portrait .

I can't vote - but wanted to let you know that I think this is wonderful.

A great capture of the subject's personality - something every portrait should strive to do. I like the tones and the lighting.

Just . . . I like it. BOL

Very very well-seen. Have you tried making it softer. I guess it will have great results.

great perspective...

very nice...the negative space works well...the shadows are perfect...would even look good in b/w

very good job here, just a tad bit cool in color, and just a tad too harsh. A warm/gold reflector on the right would have seemed to have caught a nice 3-stop fall off but get just a bit of detail in the dark side. But on the right track for sure...

Great angle and lighting...

Nice composition, light too harsh for my tastes.

Nice. I like this but would only like to see more of his eyes. Good entry.

Maestro! Fín mynd af honum.

No doubt the title tells a story - an effective study. Maybe the highlights are a bit overexposed but it does not detract from the photo. Maybe a sqaure on crop would have been OK too?
03/15/2004 12:25:02 AM
I really like the lighting here, harsh, but it emphasises the character of the face. I find the expression more one of surprise than of sadness, which is suggested by the title.
