Thank's to all who looked at this picture. I like it even though it was a bit better seeing it in person. This guy was catching some major air and I felt it couldn't go un documented. Guess I tilted a few heads. Keep an eye open for my next submission.

Did it need to be so small?

Did you mean to post this shot sideways? It is also very small and hard to tell exacly what is ging on

This photo appears to be sideways and hence I cannot make out what the dark shadowed object is...

I don't see the challenge theme. In fact, I don't see about anything at all - this is too small.

The vertical horizon was difficult to look at. The picture is a bit small to really judge, but it looks like a good job on stopping the action.

Nice action shot, albeit pretty small. I'm left wondering however, what am I expecting to see off of the screen? The subject, including the area where he/she would be landing, is all in the scene. I really don't see how this pertains to the challenge.

Novel approach - to turn a landscape photo to a portrait orientation. Afraid this will not catch many high votes, and you might try submitting a larger picture if possible. For future action shots like this one, move closer if you can - get prefocused and wait for your subject to flash into your view.

The fact that this is tilted makes me think that it was submiited this way in error....but if it was done intentionally, it is very distracting and really takes away from what could be a nice shot.

As an optomist I haveto assume that this is supposed to be submitted "portrait". As a result "off screen expectation" would be "I expect he'll turn the camera round for the next shot"

skateboards are cool but your picture is way too small and tiltled the wrong way
