 Bev used to work for the Philadelphia Trolley Works. They have land by the Schuylkill River in the Greys Ferry section of the city. Bev told me they feed the Geese and ducks there about 03:30 to 04:00 PM everyday. She offered to take me this past Friday and we went. We even went back today. It was different. Wildlife photography is not my forté. But I thought this one credible. Had few others but I liked this one the best. As always, I hope you do to...but well...anyways enjoy.

Thanks to Mike Slocum and the employees for the generosity in allowing me to shoot on their grounds.

Post: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Crop. Think again as well. Clone out a dark wing at bottom left. Left everything else pretty much intact. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen.

Amongst my favourite in this strong challenge - the wide depth of field is impressive and contributes hugely to the success of this photograph.

It's the lighting that makes this shot - silver-greys stand out wonderfully against the muted blues and the gradient to black in the background.
