I think no one knows for sure if the wires are powered at this very moment, eh? I would name it differently though because the wires are not for the high voltage (1000+V is rated high, actually) and the kid as the most of the public is usually unaware what is the voltage and how it affects the current ;-))) But I love the picture even without the title!

This picture is the only one that really fits the challenge, good job

Not sure this fits the subject ... looks like the expectation is in the pic already ... "yikes" ... don't touch. :-)

This lovely idea is a bit spoiled by the shadows.

What's this red one do? Neat idea. I like the background color.

Nicely done, but having the earth wire closest to the finger slightly reduces the impact to those who know their mains wiring.

I like the idea here. There is something about the background color tho...I find it a bit distracting for having so much of the shot. Maybe a different color, maybe black would add more contrast and iterest. Just my opinion

Thats going to hurt! I think the shadows on the wall are too harsh. Bouncing the flash off the ceiling would have been nice if your camera was capable. I'll assume you couldn't and give you an 8.

hmmm....I don't know what to make of this photo. It is well thought out...it is composed very well....I like the colors too. I guess it is the actual subject matter that throws me....the thought of a child touching wires....yet, I think it fits the challenge well and it is a good photograph.

Very good cropping! I like the way you see the very edge of the face. Nice background for this. Wires could be a little sharper.

Beautiful shot! One thing though -- I'm not sure the expectation here is off-screen. I love the sillouette of the boy and the colours -- for that I still give you very high marks

The vibrant color of this photo just screams at me. I love it! And the little wisps of blonde hair, it's just too cute. very nice lighting and good composition for what you are trying to convey, not sure if it captures an off-screen expectation, but doesn't really matter if I get it, cause I really like the photo.

I've studied this image and am a bit confused. I see this as "just before something interesting happens" vs. something interesting happening "just outside the frame" I think I need help with your vision for the shot. As is, fine photo with good use of negative space - giving me just enough visual info to get a sense of the scene.

this looks like it's pretty much onscreen

I love the color of the back ground oh crap its not an image as I thought it was would have been nice without the wire thanks though.

This is one of those shots... kind of like when you see a commercial of a kid getting hit by a car, but you don't see the kid actually get hit, but you feel the kid getting hit. Ok.. that was a horribly constructed sentence, but this photo is composed, exposed, and executed nicely. Color balance is a bit off, isnt it? Maybe the background is throwing me off.... 8
