it seems a little dark. i think maybe a wider crop would've worked better. |

I like the symetry, but I might have backed up a bit more. |

maybe in color? for the reflections? I dunno; it's a nice detail; a bit off center-I think with such a precise subject, a precise framing would be better. |

I think this could benefit from a more formal, centered framing, or if you offset it even more to capture the teeth of the outer gear along the left side. Nice contrast, this works really well in black and white! |

metallic shots always seem to work. would have liked a little more glimmer on the silver. |

nice. Makes you look at ordinary stuff in a new light. That the way it should be. |

Nice shot. I like the composition I really wonder what it would have looked like in color could have been really cool if some of the components were really bright colors like a bright blue or red. |

i like this shot. the contrast is good and there are a lot of little curves to it once you really look at it. it's very detailed and intricate. however, something is lacking in the overall composition. i think the positioning could be better (too centered) and maybe a wider angle would have allowed things to come together a little more. this might be a little too close up to capture the full effect. good shot, though. |

The monochrome makes for a good industrial effect, but the bottom part of the sprockets are very dark and a bit indistinct. |

lots of interesting angles and curves. one of the exceptions where centering works for the shot. |

This photo has also made my top 10 favorites! I am a macro fan and I enjoy doing them too. I see no focus problems and the contrast is excellent. Score: 9 |
