Now you know. I joined dpchalenge so I could show off my Granddaughter. I know it is not fair but those who submit pictures of their pets most certainly should understand.

Her name is Isabella and she is staying with Grandpa and Grandma for a few days. She kind of redefines the term “patter of little feet.”

As for the photo. Editing was limited to brushing out the background using my very limited abilities in PS Elements.

Photo was shot using a Canon Speedlite bounced from the left.

Very cute...I love her! Her red hair is awesome. Photographically, you have mixed lighting that is casting yellow on most of your subject. (looks like daylight mixed with incandescent lighting). Her hands are of two different colored tones and I wish there were more light shining on her cute face.

A very sweet picture. You really captured her ernest expression. I can really get a sense of the child's personality just by looking at this photo. It's well composed. My only suggestion would be to play around a bit with the white balance. Something in the colour appears slightly off on my computer. However, overall this is a very nice photo> Good luck!

Absolutly beautiful I love the colours and her hair
I think this would have been even nicer if you had cropped off the toothbrush/ paste but I see why you included them
She is just the cutest and you have done a really good job on this

Very sweet! My wife says it isn't fair - children always look so good! We do like this portrait, it is very appealing, with soft gentle colouring, lighting and focus. Our compliments.
