Lovely use of shutter speed and DOF....not sure if the hand really helps the overall picture or not...but the bird itself is great

Wow I really like this, and I'm jealous that you can get the black capped chickadee to land in your hand. I have several that frequent my feeders, but they are very skiddish.

Kensington Metro Park in Milford MI, has birds that will eat from your hand. Very fun. Nice photo.

Awesome!!! Very nice detail on the bird and great moment to capture. The tree in the background competes a bit for my attention with its strong lines; might be less of a distraction if it were desaturated.

This is really neat. I really like the look of the wings The only thing that bothers me (and I am nit-picking here) is the halo around the beak.......that bright orange really stands out.
