One of the outtakes from my abandoned buildings shoot at the closed naval shipyard on Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. This was the old shuttered power plant. Might not have enough pop to do well in a free study, but I like it. Guessing a mid to high 5s finish; I'd be real happy if this managed to finish over 6
Combined 3 RAW images in Photomatix and tonemapped, then processed in PSE (Curves, Levels, Bright/Contrast, Sat, a cooling photo filter), USM, Resize, USM or Neat Image again, and then Gaussian Blur to smooth everything out. Border, S4W |

| I really like the effort here, a good PP treatment, but the smokestack is just too dead centered and there seems to be some lack of crispness and visible haloing around the stack. |
