 Taken on Australia day at the Governor's house open day. I tried some more complex BW conversion than I normally do, including channel mixing and some detailed levels curves for a duo-tone look. I'm not totally happy with the result. I've done a lot of advanced editing lately, and it was a real mental shift to go back to basic. I had to keep telling myself "NO, you can't do that!!!" I sooo wanted to use a soft-focus filter on this one. :) Anyway, I'm not expecting any great score for this. I'm not even sure I like this better than the original unedited image. Just need to submit something to stay in the game.
