I might have preferred having the geese facing me in the photo rather than showing me their backsides.

The biggest problem I see is that all of the subjects are walking away from us.

It looks like they were walking away from you. I think it's better if the birds face the camera, unless there is something striking about their backsides.

I like the composition of this, and I really like the way the white fades out at the top. A neat community view. (As an aside, I played a golf course in Virginia that had a LOT of these guys. I was playing with two Canadians one day and said "You really need to take these guys back" - they replied "Oh no - they are a gift, you must keep them!" They do make a mess of a golf course, though.)
