What I like best about this is the sorta gawky pre-adolescent nature of the beastie - kinda knock-knee'd, a little awkward, and has that baby fur growing out thing going on. I have no problem with the snow - looks like snow to me. |

The white snow really adds punch to the babe's innocence. I think it's a great bonus to a sweet capture. |

Well, unlike the majority of the voters, I love this - big fan of high-key (see my miserable scoring Jan FS). You've given a good photo an artistic twist and made it visually so much more interesting. The conversion is excellent, too. |

Michelle, from my perspective your fears about the blow out are unfounded as the way you have PP's the shot takes it away from blow out and actually makes a high key feature of it. Very nice capture and I hope you had a good time at the refuge |

good shot but I wish you had retained the color....I think it would give more warmth from the fur. Even so, you did a good job framing the fawn. Good luck. |
