On my way to work today I saw a hawk sitting along the edge of the road, looked like he was eating something. So I turned around hoping he wouldn't fly, and luckily he was still there. I got a few shots off before he flew up to the powerlines & then another few before he flew to a tree. I had another shot that I think would've been neat but half of his wing got cut out of the frame.

Not a whole lot of editing:

Right on the side of the road, wow! It really blends in with the background, good for him I guess.

A great capture, shallower DOF would have made the bird have more impact perhaps

If he isn't carefull he'll be road kill himself and he'll be someones dinner. I'm surprised he stayed there for you. But as a photo goes it's too snapshotish. No pizzazz, he blends right in to the background, the contrast is a bit flat.

Had to look twice to see the subject.

LOL! Cool. Roadkill is pretty much the bird of prey's equivalent to the human drive-through.

This looks like it was taken from a moving car.Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. The hawk is remarkably sharp for this type of picture.
