 My first thought on this competition was some sort of empty playground, so I went to a place in Tacoma where there is an abandoned one in the woods. It is fairy tale themed, and most of the furnishings were more on the 'creepy' end then childlike. I thought these were cool though, its actually kind of like the entrance gate. Its large fairy tale books... kinda whimsical, since its overgrown and stuff I thought it was extra appropriate.

Interesting subject - but the background distracts somewhat and the image itself lacks contrast to my taste.

I like how the photograph looks almost black and white, but the books stand out, it really shows the focus point well

I just don't understand how you managed your colors while abiding by the editing rules. It's certainly a beautiful image with a well chosen border.

Cool subject. Nice color on the books and lack of color in the background. Fence is a little distracting... was there an angle to avoid the fence?
