Hi guys, this will be my first submission =)

I think many of you were thinking, why fish as a impression of my childhood?

Here it goes, eversince i was a kid i love going to pet shops and restaurants in the Philippines because they have big aquariums with beautiful fishes. and im sure lots of children loves to see fishes, right?

We had alot before and now i have four fighting fishes. again, why fish as a childhood impression, being a child you can never go way too far, your moves are in control, your space is not big like an ocean. Im the one who always feeds them and i talk to them like were best friends and they have names too. Upto now i still have fishes and they will always be part of my childhood and now as an adult, i will always have memories with them and i still remember the fishes i had before. =)

crop. curves. brightness and contrast. color balance. hue/saturation. sharpen. border.

Did you see somethin like this when you were a child? I adore this image for many reasons: the sepia quality is brilliant, great conversion, what speaks to me about this photo is that it really reminds me of a child remembering a special moment that they saw... in this case the leaping fish, it brings out this whole being so imaginative phase that I think every child has, the photo itself is fabulous too, I love how the dof works on this too... I can imagine this leap being somethin tht happened quickly so the dof adds to the feeling of a half forgotten thing that happened but that it truly stayed in your memories. Seriously amazing stuff this, I hope others can read as much I did!!!! 10!

Best of luck and faved!!

I do not get the connection, and the poop coming out has totally distracted me now. Edited for crap spelling

This is an exciting action shot. I like the border - it fits the subject matter. This image really calls to mind the nostalgic notion of fishing with one's father. Good work.

When I first saw this I thought it was a fishing lure. But know I think it is a betta. I think it turned out well. I do think that some of the white spots in the water could use some touch up but no biggie
