 I printed this image on canvas 54"x57" (140x145xm) and I put up on a big exhibition held in the art room of Reykjavik city hall held in the spring of 2007. There were some 30 people showing their images at this exhibition, some with many small images, some with 2-4 bigger and some with only one image like me. It was chosen as the most interesting image by the visitors and it was given to one lucky visitor that took part in the poll as some kind of lottery prize.

haha, this is cool... I'm wondering how his feet are off the ground. Maybe he just jumped? Or it could be those beans he ate....

interesting shot. I like the sun behind him for a nice halo effect and the steam really adds to the lifting off theme.

I totally misinterpreted this photo on first viewing - the stance, the rising steam... Now I see it afresh, it is a much more appealing image!

Nice sillouhette (spelling). I think this might be even more interesting if he was not centered. But still, great shot.

Very creative and nicely captured. The jet steak on the left of the image is distracting and may have cloned it out.. Still nice silhouette and execution. Good Luck. 6.

Great timing, excellent placement of the subject, and nice colours throughout. The processing of the steam/smoke contrasts nicely against the rich blue sky. Very nicely done.
