Now, about those halos... :P Really an interesting landscape and the details are very sharp. |

It was not sharpening that caused the halo nor was the image over processed it was a bad mask and a rushed edit...

Interesting landscape, however there are halos around the rocks and the top of the cactus (over processed). Also, a lower point of view I think would work better as it would set the cactus against the sky rather than against the ground which has a similar colour. |

Nice composition, but IMHO the halo distracts... |

You know you've looked at a picture too long when you can see shapes in the clouds! I see a cactus. Very nice image! |

Nice desert image with vivid colors. The halo around the edge of the cliffs is distracting. I use large feather readius to get rid of halos like this when I selectivly edit the sky in my pictures. Otherwise you could clone them out but thats hard work. |

The detail in your picture is superb. edited unnecessary verbosityThis picture would be excellent in a large print to retain more detail than 720 can show. |

Sooo pretty. I wish the halos weren't around the top of the rocks and cactus (probably from sharpening), but everything else about this is great. It is a beautiful scene. |

Nice location but a touch too much sky. I bet it would look good in b/w. I think there is a halo around the rock, perhaps due to sharpening? |

Nice landscape, and cool sky. However, I can see signs of oversharpening, and the cactus sort of blends into the hills and makes the scene look quite busy and crowded. |

my first impression was it looks a little over-sharpened, most noticeable on the top of the rocks. It's a great sky tho, i love the soft clouds and the composition is generally good |

the halos between the sky and the rest of the photo show that a bit of work has been done here. I still like it though...but minus 1 for the halos. 6 from me. |
