This is one of my favorite images I have taken in 2007. I just love the simplicity of the image and the soft flowing rhythmic lines. The DOF is perfectly balanced with the textures of the macro flowing leaves.

Enjoy.....

Wonderful detail and texture on this one. I also really liked the layering of the background elements. Nice hints of blue too.

Very cool shot, almost landscape-like, how the frond slopes across the composition like a mountain range.

I love the pattern in this photo, it does make my eyes go funny if i stare at it though. THanks for sharing such a lovely photo :)

Edited because I can't spell!

I wish the focus was slightly more clear... although it's hard to tell if this is really actually blurry or not... but I like the interesting textures and patterns.

Good job and focus. Would have liked to have seen the tips of the leaves and if it where possible to have a catterpillar (going beyond normal means and not easily available) or other insect crawling from the right to the left on the branch positioned in the right third of the image and you would have ribboned IMO. As for the capture at hand...good job and not overly processed. Good Luck. 7.
