I took this one of my son Tijs when he saw my wife coming home whit the french fries. We have them almost every sunday and he loves them.
I was suprised that you can see the pleasure on his face in this crop. Or am I the only one who can see that. I'm not very objective because he is my own flesh and blood.

I think this should have done even better. Great work!

Everybody thanks for the reactions, the picture did better then I hoped for. About the yellow spot, Because of the basic editing rules it was not allowed to remove it. I tried to crop it out but didn 't like the effect.

Vriendelijke groeten, Harm Middelbosch

Lovely picture, such beautiful color and clear focus. It is charming; however, it doesn't make me wonder what is going on off screen.

nicely done shot...I really like the tight crop...the colors are very nice too

I would have preferred the lower part of the photo to be cropped, to eliminate the distracting reflection at the bottom. Nice detail otherwise. Good luck!

Very nice. Not the same-old, same-old.

Beautiful eye. Good idea, and nice composition.

A good cut. It would have just been ok, but the incredible sharpness takes it over the top.

Nice photo! Meets the challenge criteria. Good composition and focus. The bright spot in the lower right doesn't help, but it's not a big problem. I would like to have seen more of the face. I get some feeling of happiness and excitement, and I think seeing the mouth would have helped with that. A bit more space on the right might have been better as well. Anyway, good job! A 10 from me.

it would be nice if I could make out something in the subjecsts eye, like a sunset other than random light.

There is something off-screen but I have no idea what it is. There is no expression on the face to indicate a certain feeling to me. Technically the picture is fine, exposure, sharpness etc., although I would have cropped out the light at the bottom border and the darker spot at the right border.

Nice capture but I am a little disturbed by the sun flare and you caught just a bit of something at about 2 oclock edge
