I tried to convey the idea of breaking out of the "frame" and yet being caught in another frame... I used a Flash placed on the camera, and a desk lamp to give additional light...I wore a black T-Shirt so that my arm would dissapear in the background...

After taking the shot I used Levels, Curves, Brightness/Contrast and desaturated the picture a bit,leaving only a little bit of colour in the hand.
Then Crop, resize, sharpen and added a border...

Would like to be able to see all of the fingers. Light a little harsh in the center of the hand....all the said cool shot and cool idea.

i like how it meets the challenge in all kinds of ways. each finger is framed on two sides by the frame and the frame is framed on two sides by each finger. really 'grabs' ya :)
