Taken Saturday January 19th in my vintage clothing store, Dakota's in Austin Texas. Lilyana was nice enough to let me photograph her in some of my vintage clothes that I am putting on Ebay. I really liked this face shot for the childhood without children entry. Everyday, women come in the shop and try on hundreds of hats, just like little girls playing dress-up.

I like this photograph as a portrait, as well as the orange and red hues that catch the viewers eye.

Yeah, I still do that too.

Ooops, there goes my little secret. :0 :P

Seriously, nice pic, white balance seems to be a bit too warm and there's some blown highlights, but not very disturbing. 7

This confuses me, I had to look at your title to even understand how this related to the challenge. The idea was good but I think you missed the mark by using the model. I do however love your choice of vibrant colors, that to me is the only thing child-like in this photograph.

I suppose this is a doll, but it really looks like a child.

Nice. Great quality, lighting, etc...but...aside from the title, it doesn't say "childhood" to me.

Not a bad portrait but it doesn't evoke thoughts of childhood for me. There isn't anything in the image that makes me think childhood except the title, and I would say the image should be able to stand without an explanation. I'm going to mark you lower based on relevance to the challenge.
