Splendid! I love the bright colors and the shallow DOF. :) |

Seen this one before in another challenge, I think. It's good, but I think I liked the other view a bit better. |

Nice angle but I'd have preferred some more depth of field (or focus moved back a bit) so you can see the start of the frets. It certainly looks likie it's had a good innings and got a story to tell. |

IMO I think a little deeper DOF might've helped this, almost it does work just how it is. If I wouldn't have taken another glance I wouldn't have known what it is since I didn't know what a Strat was. The more I look at it the more I like it though, maybe don't change a thing :) |

I came back to this three times before I figured out what it is, call me dumb/ All I could see was a strange pizza with an odd tower in the middle. Now I see it's a guitar, I still can't get rid of the pizza image. |

Your narrow DoF hurts this image IMO. The guitar looks like it has a heck of a lot of stories to tell, but the angle and narrow DoF prevents those stories from being told. Good Luck. 4. |

A great subject here! Pretty decent lighting. That looks like it could be a really cool axe, but the angle, and the very shallow dof just really doesn't allow the viewer to really appreciate it. Shallow dof can be a really awesome tool in a photo, but to me, in this case, it is just hiding all the great detail that should be seen in this subject. |
