JPEG police here... Your file size is only 42k. You lost a lot of detail to compression. Check the settings for compression level when you save your file, you want to save the file as close to the limit as possible, without going over it. (150k for a basic editing challenge)
Glad to see you over here in the fray. Just wear your thickest skin and don't take it too seriously. |

| I wish more of these were in focus... especially the foreground which distracts me from the good idea of your photo. |

| I'm afraid I have no idea what these are! i shall refrain from voting on this one, although I suspect you will be disqualified as no text of any sort is allowed to be added in post-processing. It is quite a common mistake for first time entrants to make, so don't be too disheartened. |
