Pythian Castle in Springfield. It was built in the early 1900's by the Knights of Pythias. Then it was owned by the us military for 50 years and is now owned by a private citizen.

That is an amazing building. Looks like a castle. It is funny how we can live somewhere and miss so many things. Great time of day to capture this beautiful old building.

This reminds me of an old English Manor House...my dream come true. What a fabulous piece of Architecture. Look at the light on the rightside of the building shining on the top window. You should take more images of this castle...thanks for sharing!!

I really appreciate the angle you've chosen here to make the most of the light and shadows. Perhaps the intruding branches on the left could be cloned out.
