This is a lovely shot and I think it shoulda scored higher. It seems some of the voters are pretty narrow on their definition of "yellow"...sheeeesh...settle down I say....grab a nice glass of wine and come back and enjoy the pretty pictures!!

Maybe it wasn't yellow enough. I thought it would finish higher. Congrats all the same. This would probably be my pick of the challenge.

I guess I just don't get what this has to do with Yellow. It's a very interesting picture and I guess there's a bit of a yellow tint to the fog but it's not what I would expect to see in a yellow challenge.

This looks more like a pale green on my monitor. Nice shot, though - just not sure how well it meets the challenge.

Great image. I love the ambience of the fog. I've tried shots like this and can't make them work, so hats off to you. Great sharpness, defnition and depth from the fog. I get the feeling the yellow isn't natural, i.e. you changed the hue in Photoshop. That's fine but it diminishes a touch for me. Nice work overall.

A really potent image. I really like the fractal shapes the silhouetted branches make against the yellow haze/fog.
