 Hmmmm a bit of a last minute entry and no doubt the scores will reflect that, but it was fun to play around with my new macro lens.

I quite like the DOF of the shot, but the little light reflections on some of the blocks don't do it any favours

Mind you on the positive side you certainly cant say that this DNMC

Your comments always put a smile on my face.

I love how you filled the frame full of an absolute, without any doubt, YELLOW. Quite sharp and full of detail. Looks like you're getting the hang of your macro lens ;) (oooo.... I'm curious just how many of these things you have hanging around the house to amass so many of one color. YIKES!)

Are these those things that people step on in the middle of the night? lol Love the brightness of the photo - very eye-catching. I also like the focus in the middle and the DOF of the background. Looks like your commenters liked it!

Wow Jon. I love the title and I truly think this should have done better than it did. maybe a nice contrasting blue one right in the upper right third of the photo... or vice versa.

I like that you were able to fill the entire frame with yellow. The yellow color is a bit softer than the yellows in other pictures. I think that's because you didn't crank up the saturation like many others did. I like it as is with that gentle color, gentle lighting. Nice sharp focus on the center lego. Might have been nice to move that center lego off center just so it's not smack down the middle.
