Such a graceful pose you captured. I love how the color of the eyes really comes out. |

I think she is pondering the life of the last zoo keeper she ate. Nice job Kelli. Nice composition. |

Beautiful light and look, largely a result of post-processing, I think. I don't like the anthropomorphizing caption, but no points off for that. |

Really sweet image, makes you want to reach out and touch him/her. Too much background dirt for my taste, I find myself thinking - more cat, less dirt. While this is an adorable shot, it doesn't seem to have that something extra that makes it really stand out. |

Beautiful animal, but the viewing angle and the composition don't quite work for me. The fact that part of her body is hidden behind the head/neck, and the relative centeredness of the composition make for a slightly weaker feel than if you had captured the sprawl of the body from the front, paws out, head thrown back, etc. I like the detail visible on the face and the scruff of the neck, and the glint of green in her eye is lovely. Could have been much stronger, but a very nice shot as is. |

Nice capture but the processing is very poor (other than the eye...nice job there). I struggle with lion shots as well espeically with the bleaching that occurs around the mouth and chest. The forced effor to narrow the DoF is poor especially between the chin and right hind leg and around the face and backside. Focus on the subject is great. If the image only had some minor adjustments to the curves (contrast), sharpness and tweaking of the eye, this could be a 6-8, but with the result I have to give it a 5. Good Luck. 5. |

I like the eye. did you intentionally blur around the animal? I am not a fan of that. |

looks like you manually blurred the background (?). from a compositional POV: Could you have moved it's head more to the right? not dead center? This would not have cut off one leg as well. Love the color in the eye. |

cute kitty. I am confused by the random blurry patches though. |

the fake blurring of the background lets this image down...it is really a matter of technique, you haven't executed the blur correctly to make it look believable and so you have this strong blur near the face going immediately to sharp background just unger the chin...just wanting to hep as you have a nice image here that would have worked better with a little more editing experience 6 |
