 An old barn typical of many that litter the countryside around Calgary. This was a desperate, end of the day capture concluding a much needed day of relaxation, which I use as an excuse to go take pictures. Sun was going down and I figured this barn is about as good an example of an abandoned building as you can get. I redited this image a dozen times in an effort to tame the harsh backlighting created by the sunset. This is what I came up with ... enjoy.

The name, well ..... figure it out.

This is a striking image but the barn looks like the aspect ratio has been changed. I'm not sure if it's just an "illusion" or if the image's aspect ration has been altered. The rest of this image is really interesting.

Very metalic cool look. The only gripe woudl be the halo/glow around the house

Dramatic sky, it looks overpowering, pushing down on the barn, destroying it even more. A strong composition.
