This looks like a lovely location. I imagine you have plenty more in this neck of the woods that are pretty awesome, yes? Noticed it's been 14 years since you've entered a challenge? About time to dust off that camera and jump back in! :-)

I like how the green moss on the rocks really sticks out, but it takes away from the creek some. I also don't care for the long exposure.

There's a lot of distracting background.

Ohh, this is a winner for me, I love it! The desaturation of all bar the mossy rocks and stream works a treat, the running water made misty with the slow shutter speed is great, and the light rays in the background top it off. The only thing I can think of is perhaps a lower camera angle would have drawn me in a little more. Well done!

In a way, I like the selective coloring you have here, but it almost seems to random to be completely comfortable.

This is a very nice shot. The tone you have gives it that old civil war feel to it. Of course, the color changes that. You did a great job on the selective desat. 8

How did you get that color tone? I'd love to know how you did that.

Turn the sharpening down and it will improve the feel of the image.
