I rather like this photograph with the muted colors and soft overall tone of the scene. The goose taking off was also a nice touch of luck. Luck didn't last though because on the way back to the car I slipped and fell next to a storm drain and the keys fell out of my hand straight down drain into the water below. Oh well, maybe my luck will change again and I will get a 6 on this one.

Hooray, finished with a 6. Replaced most of my keys too.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

You made it - a 6.... worth the loss of the keys!

Very serene, maybe a slightly tigher crop on the right?

LOL... Chatham is right down the road from me in Cape Cod, but I assume this is the British Chatham? Certainly, I have never seen that bridge...

The bird really elevates this shot from good to great. Pastels and light are beautifully soft and there is a marvelously peaceful feel to the scene, and I would like it without the bird, but I LOVE it with the bird and its flight path reflection leading my eye into the shot.

Can't wait to see who took this. :-) Drove right past you on my way to river road. Good luck. I like the color tones in this, and nice balance in your choice of composition.

Nice colors. Good subject :) I don't care for the picture's size/aspect ratio.

I would like to have seen this photo in a larger image size... the coloring is nice and soft.

Nice pastels but the photo does not appear to be in focus. Perhaps you were going for a soft feel but I think you can accomplish that with an in-focus photo.

Such a pretty photo - the subtle colour palette (unsure if this is a duotone, or as was) suits the image perfectly, and provides an air of serenity. The duck taking off from the water adds just the right amount of interest in the forground. Lovely.
