WOW Jen! this is gorgeous! first time I see it, sorry no vote form me, I'd have boosted your score a bit...this is a fine image of what can often go unnoticed in a stream

| I loved this shot too. It's hard sometimes to go out on a limb at DPC and it's not always appreciated but you did and good for you! |

| Correct me if I'm wrong, bit I'm thinking the focal point is supposed to be the leaf. If so, the top part of the photo is so busy that it distracts my eye away from the lower half, which is very nice. |

| One of my two picks for the top spot, but I don't know if this one will be as appreciated...I hope so. I really like the textures, colors, and almost abstract feel to the photo. You've placed the leaf perfectly in the frame and the gold of the leaf against the silvery gray / green of the res of the shot is very appealing. |

| Almost an oil painting look to this. I like it a lot. I need to learn how to do that grainy look without it appearing to be just high ISO noise. |
