 This was taken in the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, which is in the northeastern part of the Florida Everglades. This view is from the eastern edge of the park facing West.

In the center at the horizon there is a distant plume of smoke from one of three agricultural controlled burns that could be seen from where I was standing.

I overlaid three exposures of the same RAW file, using masks on the layers to bring out the light and dark areas and give the image more contrast and depth.

This is very pretty, Julianne. The colors are great. I'm very surprised this didn't break the '6' barrier, actually. Nice work! A lot of depth in those clouds.

I really love the clouds! The greens and grays have a nice contrast here. Great job capturing these colors on a cloudy day.
