 After a heavy snow fall, the snow was too deep to get up close (I didn't have snow shoes), so this was taken from the edge of the road. It was still snowing and in a larger image you can see the snow falling against the dark water.

In CS2 I used layer, curves, hue & saturation, background copy, eraser, stamp tool, and healing brush to clean up final image.

I like the overall whiteness of this. It feels "insulated" despite the obvious cold.
