 Well heres my portrait for this week. Its a bear at my local zoo. he had such a look of sadness (could just be sleepy too tho) that really struck at my heartstrings. Hes laying in a canvas hammock made just for him. I know these animals can be vicious but this little guy doesnt look like he could hurt a fly. This bear is almost strictly a veggi eatter. If I remember correctly from the "all about me" board he is a speckled bear.
Looks like my portraits this year are going to be emotional ones. either photos that give you an emotion or a capture of one.
sadly this bear passed away this past winter (2011). he was the oldest living spect. bear in the US. R.I.P lil guy

What a sweet faced creature, but I bet it's dangerous (look at those claws). It looks unreal. I thought at first this was a composite!
