I was fascinated by the pattern the water made in this stream as it went over that little bunch of leaves. Decided to try a long exposure so I propped the camera on a rock *in* the stream. The D200 did not drown :-) I'm very happy with all the cool patterns I got in the image, the diagonal composition following the flow downward, and the smoothness of the motion with a little texture here and there where the water is spraying.
PP - converted from RAW 3x (light, normal, dark), merged with HDR, cropped, burnt bits of rocks and some of the water, increased saturation and contrast, added border, resized, sharpened. |

| If you had a slightly wider field of view you would probably have been able to do a longer shutter and get some "milkiness" from this photo. But I do like that you can see the leaf fighting against the current. |
