 Used every lamp in the house for this...actually, I brought in four lamps to kill all of the shadows, but it wasn't working the way I had hoped. Ended up using two on the sides and one behind her. Shot handheld in order to get close w/ being akward. Photoshop was levels, curves, b & w, and selvective color to bring out the darks in the red channel.

I chose b&w for two reasons, one it felt classic (snicker) and two, there was a major color cast because I forgot to shoot in RAW. Oops. Tried to ensure there was greater contrast in this shot based on comments related to my time lapse shot. Hopefully I got it.

I wish there was a bit more dark color or perhaps that her eyes were sharper.

I like the crisp focus on the glasses and eyes, with a soft focus and slight grain everywhere else.
