I Like it Don. I gave you a 6. I don't know what Bathos means but somewhere in my head this picture seems familiar. |

I really like the bw and the lighting in this one. To me, though, the striped shirt is very distracting and doesn't seem to "fit" with the mood of the picture. |

Very nice shot. I like the light and shadows. Definitely a b&w shot. So is bathos an alternative to showeros? : ) Bumping to 8. |

I see what you're trying to portray, but the teardrops don't make this guy a clown for me. |

Nice try but it doesn't work for me in this theme. Good photo though. Love the lighting. |

I missed your reference? I did a google on 'Bathos' but it left me none the wiser. Nice greyscale! |

Maybe I am not familiar with the style or something but I don't understand. The lighting is different. |

Interestingly, the clay tears and nose take away from what would otherwise be a great B & W. |

Interesting portrayal. I like the lighting however the subject is too close to the backdrop and the light is hitting it in sections. |

interesting, but the shirt doesn't help in capturing the essence of bathos. |

The tears look like Play-Doh. Interesting idea, but I think it would be stronger if both tears were more 3-dimensional and casting shadows on the face, so my first impression would be the overall sad face instead of Play-Doh. Oh, and I just noticed the nose. That's not really working for me, either. Sorry. |

Don? Tears of a Clown seems like something posthumous would do. Nice shot, if a bit hot on the right side. |
