I'm surprised by the high number of confused commenters that didn't see the self portait immediately. I think it's quite emphasised, more than the portrait of the girl...
I like the play and double interpretations that this image offers: there's a picture framed by her sunglasses, a very good picture in its own right, and the title asks the viewer to pay attention to it. But, then, there is this portrait of this lady, and one might think that the being of the photographer has a meaning only because of her. So, she should be the subject, she should be the topic of this photo. But no, wait a sec, what's she thinking about, why does she take this pose? And the answer: because there's a photographer there, again he gets all the attention. To state the obvious: the photographer doesn't ruin the photo, he is the photo. Narcissist, I'd say. |

I am slightly interested by the reflection of a guy taking a picture in the glasses as apparently contradicted by the title of the image. |

Good...except for the reflection of the person in the glasses. |

Took me a minute to get it. I kept thinking: How can this be a self portrait when I can clearly see someone else holding the camera, no tripod.
Then AHA.
Good shot |

I like the pose and photo overall. Highlights seem a little blown around the nose letting it blend into the background a little too much to me. |

this is a very good picture, the reflection is great too. i like how you can see the photographer. In a way, it tells a story. |

love the reflections in the specs, but the bright areas in the background distract. |

I like everything except the fact that I can see the photographer in the reflection. I love the sharpness of the reflection in the glasses, the softness of the face and the blurred background, all nicely done in black and white. The photographer in view kills it for me. If it's a self portrait, are you the model or the photographer in the glasses? Either way, 95% beautiful. |

The crop is a little unsettling for me... I think including the chin would have helped :) |

Could do without the photographer in the reflection, but I like the trees. |
