| Interesting. Doesn't give me much of a sense of silence though. The hand barely showing is distracting. Hard to get good exposure (like more in the bird to bring out the feathers more) on a fast moving target |

| I think this would've been better if framed against either the entire sky, or have the horizon level. Perhaps stretch the photo to give it a bit more width. |

| For some reason I don't think when you took this shot it was silent at all, those birds must have been squwaking like crazy, other than that the photo is excelent, don't think it fits this catigory, maybe should have entered it in the free March study. 5 |

| Really cool composition, but I didn't score it high because it doesn't say "silence" to me. Sea Gulls are loud when they're fighting for food and you're obviously in a motor boat...nice shot though... |

| Great action shot! Full of motion and vibrancy, the moterboat wake, the flashing feathers and the popcorn jumping out of your hand. I love the way the yellow of the popcorn sets off the blue. The only thing it's missing is.......a lack of implied noise |
