This doesn't do much for me with all of the brown tones.

Not sure if the blur/not blur has worked as well as it might, here. Good idea, though.

i like that i can follow the progression of the stack falling over. i would suggest putting up a coloured background to add more contrast. the middle part of the 'fall' almost blends right in with it.

Looks like you had a nice idea here that didn't translate so well in the execution.

Cool, I would love to see the individual piece that came out a little more in this photo.

Just doesn't capture much interest. Nicely executed though.

scalvert: falling is Newtonian and natural. I was going to say that the movement of the hand is not natural, but there is no movement of the hand! the hand is only in one exposure.

GeneralE: yes, but that is motion of a sort. To be not there, and then there, and then not there. That is an Individual Will working in the universe. Not natural.

scalvert: hmmm you could have a point.

muckpond: knocking stuff down! totally natural!

Nice motion blur in the center. I like the wood pieces on the wood table. I think a little could be cropped from the top -- I noticed that as I scrolled the image up to make the comment.

I like your idea here. I think you have gone a step outside of the box from what the others in this challenge have done. But on the same tokem the translucent parts of the image detract from the image. If you had reduced the translucense of the arm and the falling pieces just a bit more I think you would have a real stunner here.

Still it is a great image and one that gets a 7 from me.
