I don't care what the concensus of opinion is this is a really great idea and captured pretty Dam well...
These little fellows are hard to keep in focus as they move so quickly...
In my opinion deserving of a much higher score!!

L2: okay, birds are natural.
frisca: even sparrows? do you know they eat garbage?
L2: yuck! they're still natural.
muckpond: yeah! Law of the Jungle! one man's garbage is another man's marmalade. I read it in Jungle Books. |

I think this do better in colour, or with a bit more contrast. |

The bird does not stand out well against the similarly toned background. |

The BW conversion on this really blends the birds into each other, while I'd like to see more of a separation. |

it's a little bit hard to tell that it's the exact same bird and that were following his patch from there to here. |

I have trouble getting one bird in sharp focus even one time -- nicely done. |

The tonal range used on the bird is a little dull. The gravel is where the brightest white can be found and would be better placed on the chest feathers instead. |

I would be curious to see the photo in color to see if adds that little extra. I kind of lose focus between the bird and the surroundings. |

Very difficult to make the bird out against the background. Adv Editing gives you the freedom to use a lot of tools on your b/w images to make them shine. This one needs a bit of work. |

So cute. I like the details in the foreground of the seed casings and the acorn caps. Nice composition. |

I don't see a lot in this image that makes say wow. It is a well blended image and the black and white is nice, it just lacks punch for me. 6. |

Rather dark and uninteresting. Nice try, though. |

Nice composition and choice of subject. However, the bird blends into the background too much. |
