Kendall,
I see you've been registered for nearly 3 years and this was your first photo submitted. I'll have to assume you are one of those that just likes to look at photos here and maybe vote, but you came across an amusing situation in life that matched a competition and you decided to share it with us. Nothing wrong with that. Welcome to the contributers, and feel free to submit any time you want. Please don't take any of the comments personnally. They are just critiques of the technical (and taste!) aspects of the picture and though you have a decent camera (based on the looks; you have the highest rated, and only, photo submitted with it) you may not have good editing software.

My hopes of achieving the brown ribbon in this challenge have just been trashed.
Blurry, bad white balance, etc, etc. I'm sure the other commenters have already said it all. Lots of good shock value though! |

| Nice idea but the capture isn't great. Focus is off and white balance seems to be wrong too. |

| lighting is a little yellow and there are a lot of distraction... rag, mop handle, toilet paper. Blurred a little, but jovial. |

Going for the brown? I'll help.
Try white balancing next time and a faster shutter speed. Get more light or faster glass. |

| I like the different approach fo a candid. It's a little gross. The blurriness is a good effect with the candid nature. Why such strong yellow cast? |

| Is this a serious entry? Your white balance is off, your focus is off, and many other technical errors. I don't want to discourage, but you can do much better than this. The only thing that has any thing to do with the theme is that fact that he happens to be wearing glasses! Better luck next time. |

| Your white balance is terrible on this. And it's not sharp (perhaps not in focus or suffers from camera shake or motion blur). WAY too yello. The TP or toilet (it's white?) or perhaps the margins of the comic in his hands could be used to find an acceptable WB point. Compostion and the idea are nice. A but more prep on the scene would have helped -the washcloth on the towel rack could have been nicer, not there or something that added to the humor, for example. |
