 My boyfriend [Sean] reflecting on the remains of his deceased grandfather's house, he had built this house more than 60 years ago. Sean's grandmother still works and lives on this ranch a couple hours northwest of calgary.

I like the portrait - the way he's stopped to contemplate whatever is on his mind - and the texture of the wood is wonderful. Overall composition isn't that strong for me - his position horizontally within the frame seems unbalanced and the inclusion of the sky adds nothing for me.
