 This is just outside my building (the second to the right). I have shown you the same place from a different POV (the pub is just to the left after the lock). We have three geese that come every day as well as a couple of ducks.

I love these old locks. Maybe this could benefit from a little more detail being brought out in the foreground, as I feel that perhaps it is a little too dark.

nice angle. it must be a cool place to live. do these waterways ever flood? it doesn't look like they would have to rise much to be in the buildings.

Yeah! I was anticipating this photo! These are so different from the locks we have here, so it's hard for me to explain to people here what these smaller ones look like. This is a perfect picture of one.

This is a different looking neighborhood. Not everyone has a lock on the door and another in their yard. : D
This angle shows the lock very nicely, and I like the way the buildings blend into the whole image. I would like to learn more about, or see the lock in operation sometime with a few sentences about what's going on.
